Privacy Policy
NoteTake is designed for local-first note-taking. This page explains how your data is handled and what you can expect from the app.
1. Local Data Storage
NoteTake stores notes directly in your browser using localStorage. This means your notes remain on your device unless you manually export or clear them.
2. No Remote Tracking
The application does not send note content, metadata, or usage data to an external server. Everything happens locally in the browser.
3. Contact Form Data
Any message submitted via the Contact page is stored locally first and not automatically transmitted to a server. Use the email links provided if you prefer direct email communication.
4. Browser Permissions
The app does not request device permissions such as location, camera, microphone, or notifications. It only uses standard browser APIs for data storage and interface rendering.
5. User Control
You control your data. If you clear your browser storage or delete notes inside the app, the content is removed from your device.
